This cast-endtank designed Top Mount Charge-Air-Cooler is the world's first, specifically developed for the BMW S55 engine in BMW F80 M3, F82/F83 M4, and F87 M2 Competition. Designed with multiple air dividers cast into both hot/cold side endtanks for optimized air flow, this CSF Liquid-to-Air Intercooler Core underwent CFD Analysis and Testing to ensure maximum performance. Significantly increasing core size by 60% compared to the OEM Cooler, its left/right, cross-flow, dual-pass core configuration with 2-stage water cooling ensures maximum efficiency and intake temperature reduction, a great improvement from the OEM single-pass vertical-flow design.
