We've been excited about Nitron for a while as they made moves almost exclusively in Europe & the UK... You've seen them on race-winning cars and some internet-famous builds from brands like Team Schirmer. So, we wanted to see what the hype was all about -- Nitron is the real deal.

The NTR R1 system offers unrivaled performance and value with a design that gives drivers a wide range of effective, easy to use damping control.

2-Way combined damping adjustment. Developed from their full race suspension and sharing many components with the R3 system, the R1 offers exceptional performance, reliability and value for both road and track use. Widely praised by drivers around the world and respected for out-performing considerably more expensive kits.

R1 kits provides uncompromising quality, reliability and performance without the need for a remote canister. Fade-resistant and hand built with ultra-low friction components, the R1 shock is made to last on the road and track. The high-grade materials protect against corrosion whilst reducing weight. Every R1 kit is custom built, sprung and fully serviceable. Titanium and hard-anodized parts are hand built to last not only season after season, but also the harshest of winters.

Nitron boasts over a decade of success, celebrating prestigious race wins and lap records around the world. Designed, developed and manufactured in the UK, Nitron’s worldwide headquarters are based in England’s prestigious ‘Motorsport Valley’, Oxfordshire.

All Nitron shocks are hand-built to order to SUB2's exact requirements. Lead times are normally 2-3 weeks, but at certain times may be slightly longer. If you would like a more accurate delivery time please inquire beforehand and as we are actively bringing these times down and stocking more on the shelves.

Best of all, Nitron makes EVERYTHING in house. The days of ordering multiple pieces from separate vendors for one kit are in the past, with your dampers coming complete: camber plates, end-links, springs, perches, all of it. 

Remote Reservoir Orientation?

By default, the remote reservoirs run "piggyback" on the front shock bodies for ease of packaging. If you prefer to have your reservoirs fully remote and located in the engine bay, please select the appropriate dropdown menu for Front QD (quick disconnect) option. Personally, we love the Piggbyack orientation up front as there is no more worry about rubbing that reservoir line on any sharp surfaces or having to route it around all the moving parts in that area. 

True-Rear or Divorced?

If you're wondering if you should be going true rear or divorced... We'd say go divorced. It's how the cars were intended to be. If, however, you'd like a simpler package with easier height adjustability, true-rear coilover is the way to go on E9x, F8x and G8x. 

What about spring rates?

Spring rates are EVERYTHING. They can make or break your entire driving experience. We've spent a ton of time developing our package and we're confident you'll be blown away on your first canyon drive or your first hot lap. We'll follow up with you immediately after your order is placed to discuss your driving style, car setup and tracks frequented to ensure you're getting the correct spring package.
